Once you have logged into the Total Collection Solution with a user ID and password, the Navigator appears. The Navigator is a contemporary menu system, deliberately designed to be consistent with Microsoft Outlook for ease of training. As with all of our screens, the Navigator is a resizable window totally under your control. For your convenience, all windows and screens retain their location and size upon closing to allow you to fully personalize the appearance. On the Navigator below, the "View parcel" category has
several icons, each representing a specific function. Clicking any of the "sliders"
(Reports, Import/Export, Administration, etc.) reveals the icons associated with
each respective category of
functions.
With the "View parcel" slider revealed as above,
clicking the "View parcel" icon starts the Parcel Locator as shown in the
sample below. Notice there is a top row onto which you can enter your search
criteria and the bottom grid which displays your results. Here we searched
for bill number 189:
Double-clicking the grid line above with bill number 189 above causes the respective
parcel to be displayed as follows:
You may then indicate which bills are to be paid either in
full or in part. Partial payments cause a secondary screen (not shown) to
be displayed. There you may allocate the funds received between payments
or bills. Finally, the payment screen appears next (below) onto which you can enter
and record the relevant information:
The reporting module uses a standard query screen (below)
containing tabs onto which your selection criteria is entered (by tax type, year,
status, etc). Here, you also select the title of the report or letter you wish to
produce. All reports and letters may be previewed, printed, or exported to various
formats including HTML and Microsoft Word and Excel.
While this is not intended to be a demonstration, we do hope it communicates the "look and feel" of our new Total Collection Solution. Other major functions include:
