IFM/Access Samples

Once you have logged into IFM/Access with a user ID and password, the Navigator appears. The Navigator is a contemporary menu system, deliberately designed to be consistent with Microsoft Outlook for ease of training. As with all of our screens, the Navigator is a resizable window totally under your control. For your convenience, all  windows and screens retain there location and size upon closing to allow you to fully personalize the appearance.

Notice below that the "Manual entries" category has several icons, each representing a transaction type. Clicking any of the "sliders" (Chart of Accounts, Manual entries, Purchasing, Reports, etc.) reveals the icons associated with the category of functions. 

 

Selecting the "Explorer" group above would reveal the IFM/Explorer icon. Clicking this icon starts the IFM/Explorer as shown in the sample below. In the example, we have already clicked on "General fund" for the accounts list and double-clicked one of the accounts to reveal its audit trail. If you wish to check only balances, an account summary screen (not shown) is also available.

 

Notice the IFM/Explorer's familiar sliders on the left. You may use them to additionally browse individual transactions by type (adjusting entries, cash receipts, etc.), checks, or follow a requisition through the ordering and payment process.

The IFM/Explorer is available from any authorized workstation and is a simple and extremely effective way to browse your data and drill down into history and detail. It was designed to be used by anyone needing information making it ideal for your associates who may not be intimately familiar with accounting principles. It is a truly unique feature available only with IFM/Access adding to the long list of reasons why IFM/Access is the municipal accounting of choice.
